Young Athletes
Special Olympics Young Athletes is an inclusive sports play program for kids with and without intellectual disabilities to be active, have fun, and learn foundational sports skills. |
Elementary, Middle, & High School
With sports as the foundation, Special Olympics Unified Champion Schools bring together youth with and without intellectual disabilities to build inclusive communities, reduce bullying, and promote healthy activities. |

Colleges and Universities connect students with Special Olympics programs as coaches, Unified partners, Unified Fitness trainers, event volunteers, fundraisers, and more. |

It's easy to stay involved, whether an athlete is aging out of a program or moving to a new region. When it's time to transition, take these steps: 1. Talk with your coach Special Olympics Louisiana coaches are prepared to help you navigate your next move. 2. Fill out the Athlete Registration Form Once you submit the form, you'll be contacted by the Special Olympics Louisiana office. 3. Make contact Contact your Program Coordinator about next steps. |
